SUGGESTED RIDES

  • A Route Book of suggested local routes will be provided to assist with high level information of suggested routes. Conditions may vary this year due to extreme weather. There is still snow on at least one of the routes on Thomas Mountain, which may not be passable.
  • Click the Rides tab of www.bmwmotorcyclesofriverside.com to download GPS tracks in advance. A handy shortcut is www.bmwmor.com
  • The website has the capability of turning on live real-time map layers, including radar, snow-levels, fire perimeters, smoke forecasts, etc. It is a super handy tool to choose your routes.
  • Daniel Schoo will have all the local GPS tracks and can help you load on your GPS.
See him Thursday night, Friday night, or Friday and Saturday morning.
  • You are on your own to self-organize and to choose a route within you and your
bike’s capabilities. Please do not ride alone. We will help you find a partner or small group.
  • Avoid large groups. It is best to break up into small groups.
  • Choose a ride leader and a sweep rider and follow group riding rules.
