The 2023 BMW S 1000 R weighs approximately 438 pounds with a full fuel tank. The seat is adjustable from 31.9 inches to 33.5 inches. The tank holds 4.4 gallons of fuel. It’s a powerful motorcycle that’s extremely agile with exceptional control. The oil/water-cooled four-cylinder, four-stroke, 999 cc engine delivers 165 horsepower and 84 lb.-ft of torque. The S 1000 R will reach speeds of over 124 miles per hour.
The clutch is a multi-disc oil bath (anti-hopping) with self-reinforcement and a synchromesh six-speed gearbox built into the engine housing.
