This robust engine combines electronic intake pipe injection, two overhead spur-gear-driven camshafts, BMS-O with throttle-by-wire, and BMW ShiftCam variable intake camshaft control. This all mates with a six-speed constant mesh transmission with a multiple oil bath clutch to produce up to 136 horsepower and 105 lb.-ft of torque.
