The 2021 BMW R nineT is powered by an air/oil-cooled four-stroke twin-cylinder boxer engine with 109 horsepower and 1,170 cc displacement. It boasts 85 pounds-feet maximum torque at 6,000 rpm. The motorcycle has a shaft drive, six-speed gearbox, automatic stability control, and tops out at more than 124 mph. Upgrades for the 2021 models also include redesigned cylinder head covers for increased torque, redesigned throttle valves, and a new suspension strut with travel-dependent damping for easy, comfortable, and balanced handling.
