Revival Cycles Released The Revival Birdcage – Its Latest Custom BMW Bike

When we hear about custom BMW bikes, our ears perk up. We simply can’t help ourselves, but get even more excited when we hear it’s from the team at Revival Cycles out of Austin, TX. Their latest build, The Revival Birdcage isn’t your typical bike. Because the bike is the second custom build based on the BMW concept boxer engine, enthusiasts can’t help but talk about it.

Big Boxer in a Stunning Package

The custom bike is designed around a BMW Motorrad Big Boxer prototype. This engine will also be found in the Cruiser production segment in 2020. Since we can’t get our hands on that yet, we can only drool over the work performed by the geniuses at Revival Cycles.

The bike’s frame is made from titanium which accents the engine perfectly. You can look at it from any angle and see the drivetrain. It also features specially crafted carbon suspension parts, footrests, shift lever, seat and handlebars.

You can’t rush this kind of innovation. In fact, it took them six months from planning to completion. They had it ready for the Handbuilt Show.
